Dr. Peter Cournoyer (Practice Owner)
Education: Boston College, Tufts University
31 years in practice
Dr. Cournoyer graduated from Boston College in 1984 and Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He opened this practice in 1993 and especially enjoys primary care and surgery. He is married with three children and enjoys the family pets; two dogs and four chickens.

Dr. Elizabeth Murdock
Education: Royal Veterinary College and Vassar College

Dr. Murdock graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England in 2001 and practiced in the UK until 2008. She moved back to the US in 2008 with her husband, 3 children and 3 pets in tow. She enjoys surgery, small mammals, and endocrine disease.

Dr. Amy Munson
Education: Atlantic Veterinary College
11 years in practice
Dr. Munson graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada and has been practicing in RI ever since. She and her husband Chris share their home with two "special needs" animals: a three-legged Chihuahua and a one-eyed cat. She also has two large fuzzy dogs and one other "rescue" cat. She recently added two humans to her extensive family as well.

Dr. Ana Malone Oliver
Education: University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine

A Rhode Island native, Dr. Malone Oliver earned her undergraduate degree in both Chemistry and Biology from Roger Williams University. She graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Prior to working at East Bay, Dr. Malone Oliver was an equine veterinarian and practice owner in Upstate New York. She returned to Rhode Island in 2019 and enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine.
She currently lives in Bristol, and in her spare time Dr. Malone Oliver enjoys riding horses (particularly barrel racing), baking cakes, kayaking and volunteering for Save Bristol Harbor.

Meaghan Rinkowski
Veterinary Assistant
Meaghan joined our staff in the Fall of 2011. She shares her home with one adorable dog named "Fender", two cats named "Ziggy" and "Zoso", and a Leopard Gecko named "Morrison".

Emerald Rezendes
Veterinary Assistant
Emmy joined our team in the Spring of 2011. She utilizes her surgical training and degree in Science to assist with our four-legged friends. She has two dogs named "Wrek" and "Layla", and a cat named "Punkin".

Karly Bianco
Office Manager/Veterinary Assistant
Karly joined our staff in May of 2012, having previously worked with animals at a pet store. She has a Bassett Hound named "Winston". She also has two cats named "Cricket" and "Crumpet".
Raina Parente Veterinary Assistant |
Raina joined our team in January of 2016, having 2 years of experience at a previous clinic. She enjoys helping animals of all kinds, but has a particular love for cats. Raina sometimes spends her time off bottle feeding and fostering kittens when the need arises. She has three cats of her own, named "Berlioz", "Toulouse" and "Echo". She also has a Guinea Pig named "Artemis", a Bearded Dragon named "Onyx" and a Leopard Gecko named "June".
Laura joined our team in January of 2015. She completed her degree in Pre-Veterinary Science at URI in the Fall of 2015. She enjoys taking her Golden Retriever named "Millie" to the beach and training her cats named "Rozin" and " Dill" to do fun tricks.
Jen Reynolds

Jen started working with us in the Fall of 2020. Previously, she has worked in animal welfare as a certified dog trainer. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a pre-veterinary degree. Her passions include working with dogs who have behavioral issues and spending time with her family. "Pogo", "Reese". and "Kit Kat" are her own four-legged canine Kiddos!
Olivia Kelley

Olivia joined our team in the Summer of 2018. She is in her Senior year at the University of Rhode Island on the pre-veterinary track. She has three cats: "Nikki", "CeCe", and "Hazel" who she loves very much!
Jessica joined our Team in September 2020. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY in December 2019 and is certified as a Veterinary Technician. She has worked at small animal practices in NYC and Brooklyn, as well as the Bronx Zoo, the New York Aquarium and Belize Wildlife and Referral Clinic in Central America. She and her husband, Justin, share their home with their two fur babies: a Yorkie named "Chewie" and a Maltese named "Leia". In addition to being a huge animal lover, she is also a Star Wars fan, as if you couldn't tell!
